The same-sex marriage and the Suprime Court of the United States .

The  Supreme  Court  should  not   strike  down  a   state  law  ,  called  Proposition  8,  which   states  that  marriage  is   between  a  man  and   a  woman  .  It  has  been  approved  by  California   voters  in   2008  ,  legally  .  And   also  ,  no   need  to challenge  the   Defense  of  the   marriage  Act   ,   which  was   passed   by   Congress  in   1996  ,   under   which  same-sex  marriages  that  have  been   approved  at   the   state   level,  are  not  recognised  by   the   federal    government  .
                The   U.S.  of  America  consists  of   50  states  , 5  territories ,  and   one   district  (  Washington  D.C. )   .
if   the   federal  government  makes   laws   that   say   different   things  from   the   state  laws   ,  people  only  have  to   follow  the  federal  government's  law  because  the  state  law  is  not  a   law  any  more  .  Each   state  has  a   constitution  of   its  own  different  from  federal  (   National  )  constitution  .
The  same-sex marriages  issue should  be   lasted   in   federal   government's   laws  . Don't   disturb  the   civilization  of   the   America  .
The   same-sex  marriage  persons  have  been  living together  as  parters  without  any  family  life  and   human   being   generation .
I   think  ,  the   same-sex  marriage  should   be   really   meant  a   double  persons  marriage  or   same-sex  doubles  who   are   not   same-sex   couples  .  God  bless  with   all   Americans  !

Laws   against   same-sex   sexuality  .

A sodomy law is a law that defines certain sexual acts as sex crimes. The precise sexual acts meant by the term sodomy are rarely spelled out in the law, but is typically understood by courts to include any sexual act which does not lead to procreation. Furthermore, Sodomy has many synonyms: buggery, crime against nature, unnatural act, deviant sexual intercourse. It also has a range of similar euphemisms.[43] While in theory this may include heterosexual oral sex, anal sex, masturbation, and bestiality, in practice such laws are primarily enforced against sex between men (particularly anal sex).[44]
In the United States, the Supreme Court invalidated all sodomy laws in Lawrence v. Texas in 2003. 47 out of 50 states had repealed any specifically anti-homosexual-conduct laws at the time.
Some other countries criminalize homosexual acts In some Muslim nations (such as Iran) and African countries it remains a capital crime. In a highly publicized case, two male teenagers, Mahmoud Asgari and Ayaz Marhoni, were hanged in Iran in 2005 reportedly because they had been caught having sex with each other

The Article  iV  and   iV  has  not   been   resolved  for   the  peaceful  settlement  of   the   Korean  Issue  .   So  the  Armistice  Agreement   would   be   void  ,  during   60  years  struggling  to  achieve  a  peace  treaty  .  The  U.S.'s   performance  upon  Korean  question  has  overlapped  with   the  U.N.  Charter  ,  without   finding  any   final   solution  of  Korean   Civil  War  .

Burmese President Thein Sein (r) and Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard (l) speak to reporters at Parliament House Canberra March 18, 2013.

Australia promised on Monday to boost aid to and ease defense restrictions on Burma as President Thein Sein became the first Burmese head of state to visit the country in decades.
Australia will allow limited defense cooperation with Burma on humanitarian and disaster relief and peacekeeping, but its arms embargo will remain in place, Prime Minister Julia Gillard said at a joint press conference with Thein Sein in Canberra on Monday.
Gillard pledged U.S. $21 million to Burma to help "strengthen democratic institutions, deliver human rights training, improve economic governance, and advance the rule of law.”
The financial support would be increased to U.S. $100 million by 2015, and Australia will also post a defense attaché and a trade commissioner in Burma, she said.
Thein Sein, whose three-day visit to Canberra was the first by a top Burmese leader since 1974, said Australia’s help is much needed in Burma as it undergoes a democratic transition after decades of military rule.
“We understand the long-held concerns of the Australian government and people regarding Burma’s human rights situation,” he said, asking for Australia’s understanding of the political challenges facing Burma.
“But Burma needs your support to get on a smooth path toward a peaceful, democratic country.”
"What we are undertaking has no parallel in modern times. It is not just a single transition, but three at the same time: from military rule to democratic rule, from 60 years of armed conflict to peace, and from a centrally controlled and isolated economy to one that can end poverty and create real opportunities for all our people."
A meeting in Laos last November between Gillard and Thein Sein—a former general in the military junta who has spearheaded Burma’s reforms since taking power two years ago—was the first in three decades between leaders of the two countries.

U.S. drone strikes violate Pakistan's Sovereignty : U.N. ( 15 . March . 2013. )

" The  position of  the government  of   Pakistan is   quite  clear  .....it   considers  ( drone  attacks )  to   be  a  violation  of  Pakistan's   Sovereignty  and  Territorial  Integrity  "  (   Ben  Emmerson , United   Nations  official  . )
The   United   States   should  compensate  the   victims  of   the  U.S.  drone   attacks ' consequence  and  should  apologize  to   the  people  of  Pakistan.  It  is  a  justice  according  to   the  International  Law  . Uncle  Sam , please  !   acknowledge  that  event  .  God   bless   with  you  !

"As a matter of international law, the U.S. drone campaign in Pakistan is ... being conducted without the consent of the elected representatives of the people, or the legitimate Government of the State," Emmerson said in a statement issued by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva.
"It involves the use of force on the territory of another state without its consent and is therefore a violation of Pakistan's sovereignty," he said.
Emmerson said in January he would investigate 25 drone strikes in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, Afghanistan and the Palestinian territories. He is expected to present his final report to the U.N. General Assembly in October.
Washington had little to say about Emmerson's statement.
"We've seen his press release. I'm obviously not going to speak about classified information here," State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said. "We have a strong ongoing counterterrorism dialogue with Pakistan and that will continue."
Spokesman Josh Earnest said the White House would withhold judgment until it sees Emmerson's full report.
"We have a solid working relationship with them (Pakistan) on a range of issues, including a close cooperative security relationship, and we're in touch with them on a regular basis on those issues."
'END MILITARY INTERFERENCE'
Emmerson said the Pashtun tribes of northwestern Pakistan's Federally Administered Tribal Areas, or FATA, Pakistan's largely lawless region bordering Afghanistan, have been decimated by the counterterrorism operations.
"These proud and independent people have been self-governing for generations, and have a rich tribal history that has been too little understood in the West," he said. "Their tribal structures have been broken down by the military campaign in FATA and by the use of drones in particular."
The tribal areas have never been fully integrated into Pakistan's administrative, economic or judicial system. They are dominated by ethnic Pashtun tribes, some of which have sheltered and supported militants over decades of conflict in neighboring Afghanistan.
Clearing out militant border sanctuaries is seen by Washington as crucial to bringing stability to Afghanistan, particularly as the U.S.-led combat mission ends in 2014.
Most, but not all, attacks with unmanned aerial vehicles have been by the United States. Britain and Israel have also used them, and dozens of other countries are believed to possess the technology.
"It is time for the international community to heed the concerns of Pakistan, and give the next democratically elected government of Pakistan the space, support and assistance it needs to deliver a lasting peace on its own territory without forcible military interference by other states," Emmerson said.
The U.N. Human Rights Council asked Emmerson to start an investigation of the drone attacks following requests by countries including Pakistan, Russia and China.
Criticism of drone strikes centers on the number of civilians killed and the fact that they are launched across sovereign states' borders so frequently, far more than conventional attacks by piloted aircraft.
Retired U.S. General Stanley McChrystal, who devised the U.S. counterinsurgency strategy in Afghanistan, warned in January against overusing drones, which have provoked angry demonstrations in Pakistan.
Civilian casualties from drone strikes have angered local populations and created tension between the United States and Pakistan and Afghanistan. Washington has sought to portray civilian casualties as minimal, but groups collecting data on these attacks say they have killed hundreds of civilians.

'Please complain to me'
Aung San Suu Kyi told protesters in Se Tal village that the commission had considered the best possible courses of action and that scrapping the mine project would risk turning international investment away from Burma.
“Some people want the project to be stopped, but no one points out what the results of stopping the project will be,” she said.
“The result would be the same as before, as the land is damaged already and people have already lost their land. And, other countries will think that our country cannot be trusted.”
Addressing activist monks who had come from outside the area to organize a protest camp in Ton village, she said she took full responsibility for the inquiry commission’s recommendations and invited protesters to demonstrate at her home in Rangoon, Burma’s biggest city.
“If you want to complain about this, please complain to me,” she said.
But she warned that all protesters should respect the law and apply for appropriate permission to stage demonstrations.
“The authorities promised me that they will give permission if people apply to protest. If people protest without permission, they could be punished under the law. Our country needs rule of law.”
Public protest were barred in Burma under the previous military junta.
Protesters opposed to the copper mine have called for the abolishment of Section 144 of the Criminal Code, a provision rights groups say police can unfairly use to arrest demonstrators and is leftover from the junta era.
Last year’s crackdown on protest camps near the mine site sparked widespread popular anger across the country after more than 100 people including monks suffered severe burns and other injuries.
This week’s report by the inquiry commission found that ill-trained police had used smoke bombs containing phosphorus, a highly flammable chemical, to break up the protests, but failed to hold any official accountable.

The Nuclear Safety and Security Issue .

If   the   referendum  for   the   fourth   controversial  Nuclear  Power  Plant  ,  the   simple   question  should  be  proposed  by  the   state   of  the   R.O.C.

The U.S. president Barack Obama formally orders deeply destructive cuts , real Austerity .

The   U.S.  president  Obama  and  the  congressional  Republicans  blame   each  other  ,but   I think   ,  the   U.S.  President  , the  Democrats  and  the  Republicans  should   be   blamed  for   failing  to   avert   automatic  reductions  or   the   Budget   Cuts  , the   real  austerity  .
I   have   recognized  the   35th  president  of   the   U.S.  , John . F . kennedy  ,   in   his   inaugural  address  on  January  20  ,   1961  ,that   '  Ask not   what   your   country  can  do  for   you  ,  Ask  what  you  can   do   for  your  country  '
Please,   put   aside   all  your  cheating  hearts !    Find   out   a   real  solution  for  the   country  .   God   bless   with   you  !

A  karkest  day   or   a doomday  of  the   U.S.
“Not everyone will feel the pain of these cuts right away. The pain though will be real. Beginning this week, many middle-class families will have their lives disrupted in significant ways,” Obama told journalists after his meeting with Republican and Democratic congressional leaders.
Late on Friday, Obama signed an order that put in effect the across-the-board government spending cuts known as “sequestration.” Government agencies will now begin to hack a total of $85 billion from their budgets between Saturday and Oct. 1.
Half of the cuts will fall on the Pentagon. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said the reductions put at risk “all of our missions.”
Congress and Obama could still halt the cuts in the weeks to come, but neither side has expressed any confidence they will do so. Both Democrats and Republicans set the automatic cuts in motion during feverish deficit-reduction efforts in August 2011.

Taiwan should be ready to Self-defence and Self-determination .

According  to  the   Taiwan  Relation  Act  of  1979  , and  the  Treaty  of   Mutual  Cooperation  and  Security  between  the  United  States  and  Japan  ,  the  U.S.  will   use   his  super  power   to  instruct    Taiwan  and   Japan  like   two   pillars  of  a   crab  to   contain  China  or   to   make   a  flash  point  in   the  Asia-Pacific  Region  .
The  policies  of  Japan  and  the  U.S.   may   be   different  but  the  same  if   the  Sino-Japanese   war  would  happen  again.
I like   Professor   James   Homes 's  viewing  .

Taiwan should rely more on itself instead of the United States in a potential conflict with China, said professor James Holmes of the US Naval War College during an event held at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars on Feb. 26.
In this event, titled Taiwan and the US Pivot to Asia: New Realities in the Region, scholars in political science and national defense were invited to discuss Taiwan's position under President Obama's new policy in Asia and the Pacific. Well known as an expert in Chinese naval modernization, Holmes believes that strong allies help weak allies help themselves.
"It will bolster security if the islanders rededicate themselves to their own defense while helping US forces pierce Chinese anti-access defenses," pointed out Holmes in an article he recently wrote for the Diplomat, a website covering current affairs based in Tokyo.
With huge resources being funneled by the People's Liberation Army to prevent Washington from intervening on Taiwan's behalf, reciprocal effort must be mounted by Taipei to influence the policy makers of the United States to come to Taiwan's rescue. Unlike what happened between 1995 and 1996, Holmes said that there will be more obstacles for the US deployment of aircraft carriers in the Taiwan Strait. Taiwan should hold as long as it can before the US is able to intervene, he added.
"With defense spending hovering at just over 2% of GDP, Taipei barely meets the standard set by NATO, an alliance whose members face no threat," said Holmes regarding the determination of Taiwan to defend itself. "This bespeaks a society in denial about the dangers it confronts."
While most scholars attending the event welcome president Ma Ying-jeou's policy of reconciliation with the mainland, professor June Dreyer from the University of Miami's Department of Political Science questioned if it is still necessary for the United States to supply advanced weapons to Taiwan. Even if a unification between mainland and Taiwan will not take place, Chinese spies are still able to gain critical information of US weapon systems, according to Dreyer.
